Today we walk all the way into town, we started off in the park but kept going down Vicky rd until suddenly we were at the Star Bar. I thought you might sleep but clearly it was all too interesting. In Marks and Spencer I buy a petit pain plain roll and an egg mayo sandwich. You are quite happy as we wander around until suddenly you’re not, thankfully the bread roll was enough to keep you going and we get the bus home. Two minutes from the door you fall asleep and aren’t even roused by me bumping you up all the stairs to the flat. I sit and eat the egg sandwich with a cup of earl grey tea whilst you snooze.
Daddy is home early and we apply for your place at the forest nursery for next year. Already the waiting list is a year longer than we had hoped, apparently the more organised parents have registered for a place 6 months before their baby is even born. Because my computer is now ten years old none of the applications work anymore and suddenly my work version of word tells me it is read only and I can’t edit the application l so I send it to Chris to fill in. I boil some pasta whilst he does this and mix in some beetroot sauce from the freezer, there is still some ricotta in the fridge so I add that in for good measure. You have two bowls full and some strawberries to finish whilst I send over your forms and transfer the £75 enrolment fee.
